On joining, you will receive your Member Card and membership documentation which entitles you to a variety of discounts and other perks which will be revealed shortly. Full and concessional members will also receive an annual subscription to the Rolling magazine published every 2 months. Rolling is high-quality print publication put out by the Volvo Club of Victoria. It contains articles, photos and information from all the active Volvo clubs around Australia. There is also a small section for classifieds.
Membership brings you into a united, welcoming group of Volvo and Saab devotees. A general meeting on the first Saturday of every second month (see next meeting dates) with light refreshments, plenty of events and we also have weekend runs throughout the year. Members also receive invitations to exclusive invite-only events.
Members who are owners of vehicles more than 30 years old, can apply to receive the discounted Special Interest Vehicle (SIV) Registration Concession that is available from the Queensland Department of Transport & Main Roads. The SIV registration allows a significant discount on car registration, providing the Member always retains their Club membership and adheres to the restricted use criteria for their vehicle.
